Mount Kisco Child Care Center
Seeks Grant for Scholarship Program
Mount Kisco, NY – (December 5, 2011) – Mount Kisco Child Care Center (MKCCC) has
launched a campaign for votes to win a $25,000 Pepsi Refresh Project grant. Funds from the
grant will go directly towards MKCCC's Scholarship Initiative, which provides more than 50% of
the children enrolled in their program with some form of full or partial financial assistance. The
public can vote for the idea every day through December 30, 2011 at www.refresheverything.com/mkcccscholarships4kids and by texting 110389 to 73774.
The Pepsi Refresh Project gives MKCCC an opportunity to augment funds received by local
donors and government sources and gives the public the opportunity to play a role in investing
in our children and their future. These funds will allow MKCCC to continue the scholarship
initiative, which serves working families by making high-quality early care and education
available to all of the children in our community, at present-day levels.
MKCCC seeks to provide quality child care and education to the community in a safe and
healthy environment. The Center fosters children from infancy up through school age with
innovative programming such as the sustainable nutrition program, Feed Me Fresh, and the
award-winning intergenerational partnership program with My Second Home, JEWEL.
"Every parent deserves the opportunity to place their child in a safe, nurturing environment,"
explains MKCCC Executive Director, Dottie Jordan. "By voting for MKCCC's scholarship
program through Pepsi Refresh, you are allowing us to be one step closer to opening our doors
even wider."
