Summer Camp

Kids say the best part of summer is no school and no homework! However, the learning never ends here at MKCCC. Summertime provides a different kind of learning experience for the children. Our Summer Camp Program begins at the last week of June and runs through the end of August.

• Gardening and cooking programs teach children where there food comes from, how it grows and how delicious it is to eat fresh grown vegetables. Children garden on site as well as at a local working farm.
• Field Trips to interesting places provide the opportunity for the children to learn about their community.
• Swimming at the town pool is a great place to relax, connect with friends and exercise in the sunshine.
• Special events here at the Center allow the children to engage in music and movement activities, challenge their thinking with magicians, engage with professional artists and work in new mediums and learn about and make some new animal friends along the way.
